Recorded live at The Cultural Center Auditorium, Charleston, West Virginia on March 17, 1994. Includes liner notes by Jamie Hartford and Larry Groce.

The 13 songs that make up this fine album were culled from three different performances Hartford made on the LIVE FROM MOUNTAIN STAGE radio show. He's joined variously by a few of his regular musical cohorts from the Hartford String Band, as well as pianist Bob Thompson from the Mountain Stage band. It's a crowd pleasing set, which draws from his vast catalog, ranging from his universally known "Gentle on My Mind" to such fan favorites as "Bring Your Clothes Back and Try Me One More Time," "Gum Tree Canoe," and "Annual Waltz."

Hartford's casual manner throughout is infectious, as he switches from banjo to fiddle and sings with friendly ease. This joins such classic albums by him as AEREO-PLAIN and MARK TWANG, as a both a wonderful entry point for the uninitiated, and a rich career overview for those already on board.
