Puerto Rican-American salsa singer Victor Manuelle turns in a charismatic performance on his 2007 LIVE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN release. Unlike many of his Latin music contemporaries, Manuelle rarely ventures into pop or English language material, preferring to stay true to his salsa roots. His forte is romantic material, a choice perfectly suited to his rich, warm voice, and there is no shortage of love songs on this riveting set. Backed by a full band, Manuelle is in fine form on this set, making LIVE an excellent purchase for both fans and newcomers.
