This live, spoken-word album is based on investigative reporter Greg Palast's 2007 book THE ARMED MADHOUSE, and was recorded during a speech at the University of Tampa. The sound quality is not great, but the quality of the words is all-important to anyone who values democracy, civil liberties, and a free country. Palast--who reports mostly for the BBC--discusses the theft of the 2000 and 2004 U.S. presidential elections, and our disintegrating freedoms. With sharp humor and poise, he makes a convincing case that the lunatics have indeed taken over the asylum. Included here are two amusing techno "remixes" of portions of his speech.
