The Chicago musician Azita's work is tinged with elements of avant-garde performance art, jazz, and pop. One of her more accessible albums, LIFE ON THE FLY explores the melting borders between art and everyday life, as well as the territory of the subconscious, in songs like the mysterious "Antarctica" and the catchy, piano-driven title track.
