When Elizabeth (Judi Dench, Oscar-winner for SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE) runs into Patrick (Ian Holm, Oscar-nominee for CHARIOTS OF FIRE) after 50 years, they decide to rekindle their relationship. However, this is not your usual love affair. Elizabeth and Patrick have one passion: music. During World War II, Elizabeth fronted an all-girl swing band (the Blonde Bombshells) while Patrick managed their tour of army camps. In the interest of nostalgia, and returning to music, the two decide to reunite the band one last time. Zany and poignant hijinks ensue.
