Composer: Christopher Gunning.

This soundtrack to the highly acclaimed bio-pic of Edith Piaf's life is presented in a rather novel manner. The first part contains actual Piaf recordings, the second is the thoughtful score and incidental music by Christopher Gunning, and the third comprises Piaf covers recorded by Jil Aigrot, who supplies the vocals in the film. The Piaf recordings are, of course, stellar and include her signature tunes "La Vie en Rose" and "Milord." Aigrot's covers, while not on the level of Piaf's, are an admirable homage.
