THE KUSH (2007) carries a feel that will be familiar to Mobb Deep devotees: dark, swirling, and full of a sense of creeping dread and menace. Long lauded for his unique production skills, Havoc does not disappoint on that count, but his rapping, which couches hard tales of New York street life in a hypnotic delivery, is equally impressive.
