Down Beat (11/95, p.72) - 3.5 Stars - Good/Very Good - "...semi-improvised, semi-traditional tunes....rough-and-ragged Bahamian harmonies, set off by groaning bass singers, have an antic charm."

Recorded in Nassau, Bahamas in June 1965 and in New York in May 1965. Includes liner notes by Jody Stecher.

All songs traditional except "Just A Little Talk With Jesus" (Cleavont Derricks/Stamps-Baxter) and "Oh Jesus My Baby" (Shelton Swain).
