Tapping into the AMERICAN IDOL craze that's had such a stranglehold on pop culture, the Razor & Tie crew continue catering to the little ones with KIDZ BOP 4, yet another installment featuring a crew of anonymous kids singing some of the day's biggest pop hits. As always, the net is cast wide to appeal to as broad an audience as possible. This time around, tourmates Christina Aguilera ("Beautiful") and Justin Timberlake ("Cry Me A River") get tapped along with Puerto Rican diva Jennifer Lopez ("Jenny From the Block"), American Idol singer/film star Kelly Clarkson ("Miss Independent") and country pop superstar Shania Twain ("I'm Gonna Getcha Good!").

Pop-punk fans get their due by way of Canadian-born Avril Lavigne ("Sk8ter Boi"), newbies Good Charlotte ("The Anthem"), and ska-influenced old schoolers No Doubt ("Underneath It All"). Although older folks might scratch their head over songs by dancehall sensation Wayne Wonder ("No Letting Go") and Arkansas gothsters Evanescence ("Bring Me to Life"), covers of Santana teaming with Michelle Branch ("The Game of Love") and Uncle Kracker dipping into the Doby Gray catalog ("Drift Away") will undoubtedly conjure up some wistful smiles.
