Title Note

A collection of 16 well-known children's songs, including "The Farmer in the Dell," "The Itsy Bitsy Spider," "Bingo," and "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," make up Kids Popular Party Tunes. While the track selection on the compilation is pretty standard fare -- and pretty decent, too -- the overuse of cheesy synthesizers instead of real instruments takes away from its overall enjoyment. Just because it's kids music, with silly rhymes and gestures, doesn't mean it can't be well done, and unfortunately Kids Popular Party Tunes doesn't do much to help change this. ~ Marisa Brown
