Music has always been a key part of the world famous circus troupe Cirque du Soleil's various performances (and each one has its own accompanying soundtrack available for purchase). Composed by longstanding Cirque du Soleil composer Rene Dupere and directed by well-known Hollywood conductor Simon Leclerc, 2005's KA is one of the most sweeping and ambitious of the troupe's works. Featuring a large choir and a full symphony orchestra, KA builds on the troupe's usual dramatic, world music-flavored pop to create a soundtrack worthy of the grand spectacle the company presents for this martial-arts themed show.
