This drama from Julie Shles (AFULA EXPRESS) picked up five statues at the Israeli Academy Awards for its depiction of a woman's less-than-lucky life. The title character's existence doesn't quite live up to her name. Surrounded by an unsupportive family, a difficult boss, and a married boyfriend, Joy realizes the world isn't so bad when she gets to be on a reality show. In Hebrew with English subtitles.
