JOCK ROCK VOLUME 1 features songs played at major sports arenas along with other commonly heard sounds and anthems.

With escalating ticket prices and related expenses (parking, concessions, other sundries) making it costly to attend any sporting event, a television and a good cable hook-up are a sports fan's best friend nowadays. Add JOCK ROCK VOLUME 1 to the mix and now there's no reason to worry about having to attend a live sporting exhibition ever again.

Gathered together on one album is a collection of anthems and rallying cries played over loudspeakers in arenas around the country, whenever there's a break in action or the home team needs a little encouragement. The crown jewel is the oft played, generally unknown Gary Glitter nugget "Rock And Roll Part 2"--commonly referred to as "The Hey Song." What visiting team wouldn't feel welcome without the inclusion of Queen's "We Will Rock You" and Steam's "Na, Na, Hey, Hey, Kiss Him Goodbye?"

Interspersed among other stadium faves like The Isley Brothers' "Shout" and Steppenwolf's "Born To Be Wild" are actual coliseum sound effects like hot dog vendors, crowd chants ("Dee-fense!"), organ snippets ("Charge!"), and the end of the National Anthem, making this the definitive soundtrack for those who can't afford to be out in the stands.
