This book is terribly written. The text is riddled with grammatical errors and
spelling mistakes. It is clear the author must have edited this himself or
wrote it and didn’t bother to proof read it. I guess anyone can print anything
these days.
This book is nothing but a self centered, self-serving
“biography” that fluffs the feathers and strokes the fragile ego of Richard
Jeppesen (the author). In many cases this “biography” has little or nothing to
do with the actual BIOGRAPHY of one of the greatest icons in aviation history.
Some of the actual history about CPT JEPP is entertaining, however the history,
complaints, fabrications, personal opinions and long winded stories about the
author’s (Richard Jeppesen) life ruin the book. Half of the book I found myself
asking “ Is this a Biography of CPT Jepp, or a complaint line for the author.
It is shameful, and offensive that the son of one of the greatest pioneers in
aviation history used his father’s name as a platform to voice his personal
views and opinions on topics that have nothing to do with the life of Elrey B.
Jeppesen. I hope the author reads this review and is ashamed of himself.
It
would be more appropriate to name the book “Richard Jeppesen and whatever is on
my mind”
