Product Notes

Produced by Filmation (HE-MAN, FLASH GORDON), the 1970s children's show JASON OF STAR COMMAND continued the beloved production studio's foray into live-action sci-fi. A spinoff of Filmation's SPACE ACADEMY, the series followed the intergalactic adventures of outer-space crimefighter Jason (Craig Littler), who battled the evil machinations of one-eyed bad guy Dragos (blaxploitation and horror movie legend Sid Haig, COFFY, HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES) with the help of an intrepid team that included STAR TREK's James Doohan. This collection presents every episode of the charmingly dated series' short-lived, two-year run for some nostalgic Saturday-morning viewing.
