Neo-honky-tonk singer Jason Allen is captured here live at an April 2006 show at Gruene Hall in the small hill-country town of Gruene, Texas. Comprised of songs from Allen's two prior albums, including the hit single "Victoria's Secret," the set list is filled with Allen's unpretentious honky-tonk shuffles and good-natured rants like the sly "Costin' To Stay In Austin." And Allen's onstage demeanor is as relaxed and good-natured as his crack roadhouse band is tight.
