Title Note

While the first two albums from Florida's Fake Problems showed traces of acoustic-oriented country and folk influences, the band's third release, IT'S GREAT TO BE ALIVE, wastes no time kicking out the jams. Dominated by pell-mell rhythms, driving guitars, and a ferocious spirit that's pure rock & roll, Fake Problems burn through 12 passionate tracks. Yet these aren't throwaway rockers: singer and guitarist Chris Farren shows a command of songcraft that impresses, and his lyrics demand repeated listens. Taken together these elements will no doubt reinforce in listeners the sentiment expressed in the album's title.
