Kerrang (Magazine) (p.46) - "These are the killing fields of metal, a precursor just possibly to a Sepultura reunion, and a fine debut in its own right."

Together again and celebrating it with their band name, Sepultura founders Max and Iggor Cavalera's Cavalera Conspiracy continues the pioneering thrash work the siblings are known for. INFLIKTED infuses Sepultura's harsh, downtuned grooves with an invigorated sense of speed and power. The Keyboard-kissed opener/title song would otherwise be at home on early Sepultura projects like BENEATH THE REMAINS, and "The Doom of All Fires" rushes headlong with an apocalyptic resolve. Even though the brothers Cavalera last recorded together on 1996's ROOTS, that album's experiments in Brazilian tribal music have been largely abandoned, with the emphasis instead upon muscular, rhythmic thrash in the vein of "Ultra-Violent". INFLIKTED is a back-to-basics record that displays a pair of warhorses tearing up a field that they helped seed a long time ago.
