Title Note

For the soundtrack to the 2005 crime comedy IN THE MIX, starring R&B superstar Usher, the movie's creators assembled an appropriately hip-hop/dance oriented collection. Usher himself appears on only one track--"Sweat," an energetic collaboration with rapper Rico Love. In fact, Love is the MVP of this set, contributing three tunes (including the aforementioned "Sweat," "On the Grind" with Paul Wall, and the instantly catchy opener "Settle Down") and positioning himself as a promising new talent.
