Title Note

On this three-disc 2006 collection, former Dead Kennedys frontman Jello Biafra unleashes pointed spoken-word tirades aimed largely at the George W. Bush administration and the war in Iraq. Among the many outraged tracks on IN THE GRIP OF OFFICIAL TREASON are "Die for Oil, Sucker," an update of Biafra's 1991 rant, and an extended take on "Ass Clown," an ominous collaboration with his allies in the industrial-rock act Ministry.
