One of the many 21st-century indie acts to hear the siren call of 1980s New Wave, Australia's Cut Copy mixes synth-pop with both `70s AM radio breeziness and a driving house beat, resulting in a sound that's tailor-made for the dance floor. Though the trio's debut, BRIGHT LIKE NEON LOVE, was warmly received, the group, fronted by singer/multi-instrumentalist Dan Whitford, achieved greater accolades and international recognition with 2008's IN GHOST COLOURS, an album that went straight to the top of the Australian pop charts.

Best album Ive heard in a long time, seriously worth buying. This album will definitely be included in my top cds of the year! Best songs: Hearts on fire, Lights & Music, Feel the Love Great combination of indie pop, 80s new wave, 70s psychedelic and 90s dance hits. I cant stop listening to the album!
