Harvestman is the atmospheric, exploratory rock music project of Neurosis front man Steve Von Till. On IN A DARK TONGUE, the follow-up to his 2005 debut, LASHING THE RYE, Harvestman continues his journey into organic, neo-spiritual instrumentation and meditative rapture. Taking equal parts early Tangerine Dream and UMMAGUMMA/MEDDLE-era Pink Floyd, he has created a post-psychedelic mindtrip tantamount to an aural hallucination. Be warned--songs are not the order of the day here, as Von Till experiments with the depth and breadth of ambient sound that he can squeeze out of each instrument.
