Iggy & The Stooges includes: Iggy Pop (vocals); James Williamson (guitar); Ron Asheton (bass); Scott Asheton (drums).

Recorded between 1972 and 1993.

During 1972, the latter-day line-up of Iggy and the Stooges (outrageous singer Iggy Pop, guitarist James Williamson, bassist Ron Asheton, and drummer Scott Asheton), set out to record their first release for Columbia. Just signed to the prestigious Mainman Management Company and with David Bowie lined up to produce the record, the band got to work on demos. The first batch of demos that were submitted to Mainman were promptly rejected--some of the tracks were re-worked and appeared on 1973's classic RAW POWER, while the rest fell through the cracks. Three of these forgotten demos (the title track, "Scene of the Crime" and "Tight Pants") finally saw the light of day on the I'M SICK OF YOU EP.

Originally released on vinyl in 1981, the 1996 CD re-issue contains a total of eight tracks, five of which were live versions of the three songs, recorded between 1978 and 1993 (Iggy solo, without the Stooges). "I'm Sick of You" should have made the RAW POWER album--with its tranquil beginning and eruptive middle section, the song is a Stooges classic. "Tight Pants" is essentially an early version of RAW POWER's "Shake Appeal," while the other track, "Scene of the Crime," is your standard Stooges rocker.
