Originally released in 1959, I GET A BOOT OUT OF YOU is the first album released on Warner Brothers Records by the prolific bandleader and arranger Marty Paich. The jazz-oriented Paich used mainstream easy-listening albums like this one to help introduce some of America's best contemporary jazz musicians, such as West Coast trumpeter Jack Sheldon and alto saxophonist Art Pepper, to a wider mainstream audience. This 2008 reissue is pressed on heavyweight 180-gram vinyl and housed in a replica of the eye-catching original 1959 sleeve.
