The first disc sports reflective, sometimes moody ballads, while the second, attributed to Beyonc‚'s brash alter ego, Sasha Fierce, is loaded with propulsive dance-floor fillers. Except for this stylistic divide, I AM. pays only nominal attention to its supposed concept, focusing instead on a set of excellent, radio-ready songs--neatly avoiding the possibility of I AM. becoming some sort of Chris Gaines-style conceptual disaster. Though the second disc, which boasts the synth-drenched lead single, "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)," is more immediately gratifying, the impeccably produced ballads of the first disc represent a vast improvement on the often awkward torch songs that weighed down Beyonc‚'s first solo record. I love this album! Especially dic 1 which is "I AM....". It is a remarkable
album. You truly feel her pain and emotions and its pretty personal and I love
the words and lyrics that she uses to express all of her emotions and thoughts.
The songs are soooo beautiful and powerful!Wonderful album! I dont know what
that other girl is talking about, this album is very different from her other
two becaise its verrryyy mature, not that the others werent, but this one like I
said is very explanantory about love, feelings and expressions. Wonderful album!

This is absolutely her best work yet. I AM has timeless classics that will stand
the test of time. Babyface has contributed on again a masterpiece! The Sasha
Fierce disc is very eclectic with urban,dance,R&B and chopped and screwed songs.
This is the bomb CD. I would buy it 10 times over!
