After completing this short book, I had a few problems with the style and content. It addresses its subject matter, sure however, I did not enjoy its presentation nor do I believe that the content lives up to its title. Here is why: 1. The spelling and grammar are poor a simple spell checker would have fixed most of the mistakes. To a certain degree, this can be overlooked, but such a presentation makes one question the degree of effort involved in the creation of this book. 2. Much of the advice is not exactly original, and is often quite common sense. I have read better advice from other sources. As a matter of fact, while I was reading the book, some of the tips began to sound oddly familiar, as if I had heard them 5 years before. After a brief internet search, I realized this wasnt my imagination. 3. Thirdly, there is no overarching narrative at all. The advice is fragmented into 339 tips, (many of which are either common sense or reiterations of previous tips), with no introduction or conclusion. 4. Some of the advice was well thought. I just believe it would be better sought and more enjoyable to read from a better-written source. And the good advice honestly does not take away from such tips like "You must smell like a flower." I was expecting a book a bit more intelligent and thoughtful, not just a list of tips I could find somewhere on the internet. A lot of the advice was either common sense, presented poorly, or taken from other sources. Ive heard it before. There are plenty of other options with more creative ideas and more applicable content out there.
