Title Note

Between the Gang Of Four paraphrasing and song titles like "Dance Rock Is The New Pasture," there's a pervasive sense of smart-aleckness throughout this Pennsylvania quartet's first full-length. But it's not all clever song titles. A substantial portion of AT HOME is loaded with confident, huge power-kegs like "Rite Of Passage," the kind in which verses, choruses, bridges, and breakdowns all operate as the hook. Elsewhere, they put the wit aside in favor of snappy disco rhythms ("I Saw An Inferno Once") that earmark Settle as TOURISTS of both classic post-punk and the brightest of modern-day bombast purveyors.
