The project of Boston-bred former muralist and solo recording artist Luke Temple, the Brooklyn-based group Here We Go Magic specialize in ethereal, electro-tinged soundscapes containing a smattering of eclectic folk, afro-pop and psychedelic rock influences. Featuring Temple's distinctive, warbling tenor and introspective songwriting, HWGM's lo-fi bedroom-studio-recorded 2009 debut received critical buzz and acclaim in indie music circles. The group was slated to tour with fellow Brooklynites Grizzly Bear in May 2009.
