Designed as a counterpoint to controversial filmmaker Michael Moore's FAHRENHEIT 9/11, this movie from former CIA director Herb Meyer takes a conservative view of the terrorist threats that loomed large over America at the turn of the 21st Century. Taking a look at the War on Terrorism, Meyer explains how contemporary news shows are biased towards a liberal standpoint, and expands the theory to encompass his belief that liberalism actually poses a huge threat to national security. But the main aim behind THE SIEGE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION is to illustrate how America can defend itself against terrorist threats, and why Radical Islamists and other fanatics see America as such a threat. Absorbing and controversial, Meyer's views are presented in a clear and concise way in this 42 minute film.
