This is the debut album by Canadian alternative-pop quartet Hedley, featuring "On My Own."

Hedley: Jacob Hoggard (vocals); Dave Rosin (guitar, background vocals); Tommy Mac (bass guitar, background vocals); Chris Crippin (drums, background vocals).

Recording information: Hipposonic Studios, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

On its self-titled debut, the Canadian punk-pop group Hedley offers up a charmingly dynamic set that ranges from the revved-up, New Wave-tinged single "On My Own" to the pensive ballad "Trip." Led by singer Jacob Hoggard, one of the finalists on the second season of the CANADIAN IDOL reality-TV show, the band deftly balances accessible tunes with edgier material, resulting in a widely appealing sound.
