A two-disc set, HARRY ON BROADWAY ACT 1 contains Harry Connick Jr.'s first two Broadway showcases. Connick wrote the score for 2001's THOU SHALT NOT, but did not act in the show; the performances included here are not taken from the original-cast recording, but rather are Connick's own versions of the songs, performed with a small jazz combo featuring saxophonist Branford Marsalis. The second disc is the original cast recording of the 2006 revival of THE PAJAMA GAME starring Connick himself, and featuring standards like "Hey There" and "Hernando's Hideaway."
