Recording information: Ultrasonic Studios, New Orleans, Louisiana (2005).

Despite the devastation caused to his native New Orleans by 2005's hurricane Katrina, award-winning accordionist Nathan Williams' musical message of good times remains undiminished. On this collection of mostly self-penned, uptempo zydeco, Williams' big-hearted voice, virtuoso accordion playing and expansive exhortations to "Think About the Good Times" are both an antidote to life's smackdowns and a reason to get down and boogie. He turns Otis Redding's "Fa Fa Fa Fa Fa (The Happy Song)" into something like a ska outing, while the title track is a crowd-pleasing romp, and songs like "Don't Worry 'Bout the Mule" and "Your Love Last as Long as Your Money" are candid slices of homespun wisdom as well as great dance material.
