Her diverse career, which began in the mid-1950s, extended into the new millennium and saw her perform and collaborate with a diverse list of artists including Swiss electro combo Yellow, U.K. techno act the Propellerheads, and singer-songwriter Chris Rea. Bassey is one of England's most beloved pop performers and a bona fide diva worldwide.

Long before the phrase was ever uttered, Dame Shirley Bassey was bringin it! This 2000 compilation of her most famous hits ranges from her early-60s power-house songs through to her 1997 hit "History Repeating". This album contains the very-necessary three Bond theme songs and three recent re-mixes, including one by Propellerheads (with whom she collaborated for "History"). Dame Bassey delivers outstanding performances on every one of these songs with her powerful voice and impeccable sense of style which comes through in her music.
