Album Description

How K7 uncovered these producers remains anyone's guess, but Stefan Hantel's follow-up to Higher Than the Funk boasts both an enviable breadth and maturity often lacking at this end of the eased listening market. This latest work emanates with an enviable warmth and spaciousness, gently shuffling from the beautiful orchestration that sketches out the two-minute "L'Intro" through the dubbed vocal productions of "Inside," "Believe," and "Want" before entering into the straight fusion that has dominated his previous output. Thoughtful without being pondering, with plentiful live instrumentation only acting to enrich the studio material. Great. ~ Kingsley Marshall
