Album Description

This two-fer from Brill Building teen idol Bobby Vee includes 1962's Golden Greats and 1966's Golden Greats, Vol. 2, both of which provide a nice summary of the Buddy Holly-influenced artist's mercurial '60s period. Fans looking for a more concise overview of Vee's work would be better off with 1990s Legendary Masters or 2003's Absolutely the Best. ~ James Christopher Monger
