On his 2008 solo outing, THE GOLDEN FORETASTE OF HEAVEN, former Atari Teenage Riot frontman Alec Empire presents another set showcasing his signature "digital hardcore" aesthetic. This heavily electronic album reinforces Empire's reputation as the Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) of Germany, particularly on the aggressive-yet-romantic "New Man" and the pulsing "Down Satan Down (Dub)."
