Recording information: 1988 - 1994.

One of the quintessential late-1980s/early-'90s hair-metal bands, Cinderella excelled at ragged, glam-tinged hard rock with melodic leanings, as best exemplified by its MTV power-ballad hits "Don't Know What You Got ('Til It's Gone)" and "Nobody's Fool," both featured on this well-selected two-disc retrospective. Led by the perpetually pouting frontman Tom Keifer, the Philadelphia-based group also had a more energetic bar-band quality that is showcased on the six live tracks that close out GOLD. This is ideal one-stop shopping for devoted Cinderella fans.
