Compost Records' Glucklich 3 collects urban, Brazilian-inspired fusion from across Europe and the US. While the other two albums in the series focus on music from the '70s and '80s, volume 3 concentrates on the '90s' interpretation of "Brazilliance," which includes electronic elements as well as sambas, bossa novas, and batucadas. Tracks like Pathless' "Goddess," Boozoo Bajou's "Night Over Manaus," and Cosmo Vitelli's "We Don't Need No Smurf Here" provide a unique hybrid of contemporary electronic music and classic Brazilian style. ~ Heather Phares
