Madrid's Glass Spires play a Faith No More-influenced brand of hard rock bordering on metal. Songs like "Faith" and "The Sweet Skin of Evil" also betray the influence of progressive rock bands like King Crimson; the lyrics (sung mostly in English by Samuel Gomez) lean towards the gothic and hyper-dramatic. There's an almost scientific exactitude to the musicianship as the album is full of complex time signatures and coiling guitar solos.
