Title Note

The first release by U.K. vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Devonte Hynes in his Lightspeed Champion guise, the GALAXY OF THE LOST EP finds the former Test Icicles member trading in his ex-band's bratty sound for a much more refined indie-folk aesthetic. In addition to a jangly acoustic cover of Electric Light Orchestra's "Xanadu," Hynes unveils the lilting, string-tinged title track and the spare, emotive "No Surprise," pointing the way to a promising debut album.
