I was first introduced to "The Frontiersmen" in 1973, while stationed with the
Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, near the birthplace of Tecumseh and Blue Jacket.
I
found this series, "Winning Of America" fascinating, and very factual. The
story correlates well with what I learned in West Virginia History, on the
frontiersman side, and shows us the Indian side of the story.
I encourage
anyone with an interest in early American history to read the entire series.
