This collection gathers together six triumphant entries in French & Saunders' side-splitting career, including:

AT THE MOVIES: Comediennes Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders aim their biting satire at the movie industry, skewering such Hollywood hits as "Silence of the Lambs," "Alien," and "Thelma & Louise."

GENTLEMEN PREFER FRENCH & SAUNDERS: Another bout of wit and wry spoofs from the two wisecracking Brits, who take dead aim at Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell, the magazine industry, and ABBA, among others.

LIVING IN A MATERIAL WORLD: Highlights from Series 4 and 5 of the BBC parody series, with our stars taking on Bergmanesque movies, the babes of "Baywatch," the warm and fuzzy "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman," and the Material Girl herself.

THE INGENUE YEARS: In this collection of skits from the BBC series, the comedic duo parodies James Bond, Hollywood musicals, and dance crazes.

ON THE ROCKS: Containing two Christmas specials and a few hilarious parodies of major feature films, this is a welcome addition to the French & Saunders ouvre. Having established their names in the 1980s alongside a welter of alternative comedians such as Rik Mayall, Ade Edmondson, Alexie Sayle, and Ben Elton, French & Saunders subsequently carved out a niche for themselves in their own right, with a series of shows that cemented the reputation of their quirky double-act. Both have also enjoyed fame with separate projects (ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, THE VICAR OF DIBLEY), but it's when the duo come together that fans really rejoice, and ON THE ROCKS will surely delight all followers of the inimitable duo.
