Los Angeles indie duo Honey Honey make their debut with the charming FIRST RODEO, an album of varied and appealing songs that mix country and folk influences with catchy pop-rock tunes. Songs like the first single "Little Toy Gun" and the sardonic "Give Yourself To Me" are tuneful and engaging, and lead singer Suzanne Santo projects an appealing mix of bravado and vulnerability not unlike the young Chrissie Hynde.
