Urban contemporary singer/songwriter Jazmine Sullivan got her start in the industry writing and producing for the likes of Fantasia and Christina Milian. A recording contract with Jive Records led to the release of the reggae and gospel-tinged single "Need U Bad," and the full-length FEARLESS in 2008. Like "Need U Bad" (which appears on the album), the songs on FEARLESS cross the smooth, stylish sound of 21st-century R&B with elements of hip-hop, vintage soul, reggae, and dub. Production help from Stargate, Salaam Remi, and Missy Elliott (who also guests on the album) give the proceedings an impeccable gleam.

Jazmine Sullivan is so cool! Her new album is amazing, her website has all kinds of cool information and sample tracks. Shes got such a great voice and her songs are original and soulful.
