Album Description

On the raunchy rapper's sophomore offering, FATHERFCKER, Peaches certainly knows how to keep the lyrical shock value high. Tracks such as "Shake Your Dix" and "Back It Up, Boys" retain the histrionic uber-sexual themes that dominated her debut, TEACHES OF PEACHES. On "Kick It" Peaches treads some new, more guitar-heavy territory and enlists punk icon Iggy Pop for some call-and-response vocals. Peaches steers even further away from her electroclash comfort zones on "I Don't Give A..." where makes the unlikely choice of sampling Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation" as the backdrop for her shouted expletives. FATHERFCKER may not be as cohesive an album as TEACHES OF PEACHES, but it does give Peaches a chance to flex some unused artistic muscle and keeps listeners both intrigued and pleasantly surprised.
