Title Note

On FAST MONEY, Bryan "Baby" Williams (aka Birdman) continues to define the Dirty South style. Paired up with Cash Money's famed producer Mannie Fresh, this album picks up where Birdman's debut BABY AKA THE #1 STUNNA left off.

Featuring guest performances by Lil Wayne, Big Tymers, and others, these songs evoke the world of money, drugs, sleek cars, and fast women. Each track brims with attitude and bravado, slinging a host of expletives. The single "Neck of the Woods" sounds destined to be a club hit, given its whomping beat and aggressive lyrics. Another song, "Big Pimpin'," draws from old-school funk; the backing tracks employ organic drum sounds, wah-wah effects, and slick chords, while Birdman's lyrics describe prostitution and quick cash. The last tune here unfurls a slow, synthetic groove, while Birdman and Lil Wayne trade rhymes about turf wars in the ghetto. Overall, FAST MONEY has all the edge and drive fans have come to expect from the Cash Money crowd. Moreover, this album is sure to generate additional interest in the Dirty South sound.
