EVERYTHING! is right; it almost seems as though they picked through Daniel Ash's garbage for this puppy. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, as Ash probably throws out more good songs than most people write. Formed from the ashes of Bauhaus and featuring the above-mentioned guitarist, Tones On Tail are probably best remembered for their late '80s club smash "Go," which casual fans can pick up on any number of new wave compilations.

EVERYTHING will work best for long-time fans or completists who will appreciate the new-wave synthesizer of songs such as "War," or who want an extended remix of "Go." A lot of this material holds up surprisingly well, such as "Christian Says," and the bonus radio interview at the end of the second CD is almost worth the price of admission. Recommended for completists, and diehards who still worship at the throne of Goth.
