Product Notes

Full of tragedies and sweeping changes, the eighth season of the long-running medical drama welcomes two new cast members to County General--Michael Gallant (Sharif Atkins) and Gregory Pratt (Mekhi Phifer)--and says farewell to Dr. Benton (Eriq La Salle) and Dr. Greene (Anthony Edwards) as they make difficult choices and contemplate their futures in the medical profession, and life. Meanwhile, Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle) helps provide the anchor to the staff as they deal with bracing new challenges and the heart-pounding medical traumas that have been the show's mainstay. Also helping to smooth over the transitions is season one's Susan Lewis (Sherry Stringfield), who rejoins the ER team. This collection presents every episode of the show's gripping eighth season.
