Title Note

Although based in Chicago, the duranguense ensemble Alacranes Musical originally hails from the Durango region of Mexico, and it returned to its homeland for this 2009 concert album. Performing in front of an enthusiastic crowd, the group offers up many of its most beloved polka-like songs, including the bright "Solo En Ti" and the highly percussive "Por Tu Amor."
