Annotation

The story of a boy named Shorty who is sent, with his family, to an internment camp during World War II. Life in the camp is difficult and bleak. Shorty's father determines that the internees need some diversion to help the time pass so he establishes a baseball league. Shorty himself has never been a good player, but he is determined to help his team win the championship. This story is based on the true experiences of the author's parents. This is a Spanish-language version of the book.
